Legambiente Lombardia has withdrawn its appeal regarding the construction of a data center on agricultural land in Cassina Nuova, confirming the project's advancement. This decision follows an agreement with the Fondazione Bellani and the municipality for new concessions to protect green areas.

The plan includes compensations to the Parco delle Groane by incorporating previously excluded areas. While Legambiente expresses concerns about the data center's potential impact on the community and the necessary high-voltage line, the agreement is seen as a positive step towards safeguarding local ecology and preventing further urban development.
