Legambiente Lombardia has withdrawn its legal challenge against the data center project in Cassina Nuova after reaching an agreement with the Fondazione Bellani and the municipality to enhance green space protections. The agreement includes localizing compensatory areas for the Parco delle Groane, which aims to prevent future urban development. Despite concerns about the data center's impact on the local area, the deal is viewed with cautious optimism as it secures ecological corridors and expands park boundaries.

Legambiente Lombardia has withdrawn its appeal regarding the construction of a data center on agricultural land in Cassina Nuova, confirming the project's advancement. This decision follows an agreement with the Fondazione Bellani and the municipality for new concessions to protect green areas.
The plan includes compensations to the Parco delle Groane by incorporating previously excluded areas. While Legambiente expresses concerns about the data center's potential impact on the community and the necessary high-voltage line, the agreement is seen as a positive step towards safeguarding local ecology and preventing further urban development.
