The plant will produce various electrical components, including Bus Bar trunking systems and industrial plugs, while also emphasizing sustainability with a green building certification and a solar energy system. Group Legrand India inaugurated a manufacturing facility in Nashik on January 21, 2026, covering over 30,000 square meters. This facility is Legrand's largest in India and one of its largest globally, emphasizing India's role as a manufacturing and export hub.
The plant will produce Bus Bar trunking systems, distribution boards, racks, cable trays, and industrial plugs and sockets, targeting the expanding data center market. Exports are already in progress, with plans for broader global shipments.
The facility aligns with Legrand's sustainability commitments, featuring a green building certification and a 1 MW solar energy system. The opening of this facility reflects Legrand's strategy for growth in India and its commitment to quality manufacturing and sustainable practices.
