Lehmann Marine to Supply Battery Systems for Three Electric Ferries in Hamburg
Lehmann Marine will supply battery systems for three new electric passenger ferries for HADAG in Hamburg, marking the largest order in the company's history. Each ferry, measuring 30 meters and accommodating 250 passengers, will utilize a 3.8 MWh modular CUBE energy storage system, enabling fully emission-free operations. The ferries are scheduled to enter service in 2028.

Lehmann Marine is supplying battery systems for three new electric passenger ferries being constructed for HADAG Seetouristik und Fährdienst AG in the Port of Hamburg. This represents the largest order in Lehmann Marine's history.
The ferries, built by SET Schiffbau- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft Tangermünde mbH, will each measure approximately 30 meters and carry up to 250 passengers. They will be equipped with a 3.8 MWh CUBE energy storage system, allowing for emission-free operations. All three ferries are scheduled to enter service in 2028.
