The Lennox City Council in South Dakota has allocated $25,000 for a feasibility study to evaluate the establishment of a data center in the community. Proposed by Scott Sandal, the study will cover infrastructure, community impacts, and commercial aspects.

Sandal, who has experience with similar projects, emphasized the importance of community involvement and education, leading to the formation of the Data Center Club at Lennox High School. The aim is to deliver a draft report to the city council by May as students will break for summer then.
