Liaoning Continues Toll Exemption for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Trucks Under 2026 Transportation Plan
Liaoning Province has extended toll exemptions for hydrogen fuel cell trucks as part of its 2026 transportation plan, aimed at lowering logistics costs. This initiative builds on a previous toll-free policy established in May 2025 and includes additional measures to improve transportation efficiency, such as credit-based exemptions for oversized cargo permits and enhanced service for drivers. By the end of 2026, the province plans to expand charging infrastructure and improve service quality for truck and taxi drivers.

Liaoning Province has announced the continuation of toll-free passage for hydrogen fuel cell trucks as part of the 'Implementation Plan for Optimizing the Business Environment in Liaoning Province's Transportation Industry in 2026.' This policy, effective from 2026, is designed to reduce transportation and logistics costs and follows the previously implemented toll exemption policy for hydrogen fuel cell trucks released in May 2025.
The plan also includes other measures such as credit-based exemptions for oversized cargo permits, streamlined waterway transportation processing, and improvements to service efficiency for taxis and highway charging facilities. Additionally, by the end of 2026, the province aims to increase charging spaces and enhance the quality of service for truck and taxi drivers.
