LibertyStream Infrastructure Partners has started the installation of direct lithium extraction (DLE) and refining systems at Select Water Solutions' facility in Howard County, Texas. The project is on track for initial lithium carbonate production in early Q2 2026.

This deployment will help validate the integration of DLE technology with existing water treatment infrastructure and support bulk sample production for customer qualification. The company aims to achieve annualized production of up to 1,000 tonnes by the end of 2026, with a phased approach for scaling operations across major U.S. basins.
