Lift Accident Injures Six at Greenko Hydropower Project in Madhya Pradesh
A lift accident at the Greenko Hydropower Project in Madhya Pradesh injured six labourers, with one in critical condition. The incident occurred during construction activities, prompting investigations into safety protocols and potential negligence.

Six labourers were injured when a lift fell approximately 100 feet at the Greenko Hydropower Project in Khimla village. One worker is in critical condition while two others escaped with minor injuries.
Initial medical assistance was provided at the site before the injured were transported to a Neemuch hospital. The accident occurred shortly after a visit by Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla, who reviewed safety measures.
Greenko’s management indicated the incident involved operations by L&T, which is under investigation to determine the cause. The project management promptly informed local authorities about the incident.
