LightHouse Data Centers Launches with 2GW Capacity Pipeline in North America
LightHouse Data Centers has launched a new platform in partnership with Wharton Digital to develop hyperscale data centers, targeting over 2GW of capacity across North America. The initiative aims to bring 300MW of capacity online in the near term, with multiple campuses expected to be operational by late 2026 and early 2027, focusing on the US Southeast, Southwest, and Midwest regions. Current projects include several facilities in the Southeast and plans for additional campuses in the Midwest.

LightHouse Data Centers has launched a platform to develop hyperscale data centers in partnership with Wharton Digital, targeting over 2GW of capacity. The firm plans to bring 300MW of near-term capacity online within the next couple of years.
The focus is on markets in the US Southeast, Southwest, and Midwest, with multiple campuses expected to be operational by late 2026 and early 2027. Wharton has invested in LightHouse and contributed its powered land business to the venture.
LightHouse's current projects in the Southeast include CLT01 (48MW in 2026, 288MW total), CLT02 (16MW in 2026, 38MW total), and CHS01 (16MW in 2026, 128MW total). Additionally, plans for a 240MW campus in the Midwest and a 60MW facility along the I-85 corridor are also underway.
