Liontown Resources Reports H1 FY26 Production and Market Outlook for Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation
Liontown Resources Limited announced its H1 FY26 production results, highlighting a transition to 100% underground mining at the Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation in Western Australia. The company reported a 148% increase in underground production year-over-year, achieving a run rate of 1 million tonnes per annum, with targets of 1.5 million tonnes by March 2026 and 2.8 million tonnes by June 2027.
The average realized price was US$815 per tonne, with unit operating costs at US$646 per tonne. The cash balance was $390 million as of December 31, 2025. The resource at Kathleen Valley contains 150 million tonnes of material averaging 1.3% lithium oxide. Liontown is also conducting a study for a capacity increase to 4 million tonnes per annum.
