Lithium Argentina Updates Resource Estimate for Cauchari-Olaroz, Supports Stage 2 Development in Argentina
Lithium Argentina AG announced an updated resource estimate for its Cauchari-Olaroz operation in Jujuy Province, Argentina. The estimate shows a 42% increase in Measured and Indicated resources to 28.1 Mt of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE). Stage 2 aims to add 45,000 tpa of LCE capacity, building on the existing Stage 1 operation of 40,000 tpa. The company has filed for necessary permits and expects results from the Stage 2 development plan by mid-2026.

Lithium Argentina AG reported an updated resource estimate for its Cauchari-Olaroz operation, increasing Measured and Indicated resources by 42% to 28.1 Mt of LCE. The Stage 2 development plan targets an additional 45,000 tpa of LCE, supplementing the current 40,000 tpa capacity.
The estimate, effective December 31, 2025, was completed by Aquatec and Groundwater Insight, incorporating new drilling and hydrological modeling. Applications for environmental permits and RIGI support for Stage 2 were filed in December 2025, with expectations for a technical report by March 2026 and further updates in mid-2026.
