LNK Energy Launches 6 GW Solar Plant in Maharashtra with ₹10,000 Crore Investment
LNK Energy, founded by three Indian entrepreneurs, has announced a ₹10,000 crore investment to establish a 6 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. The project, which includes integrated ingot and wafer production, aims to bolster India's clean energy ecosystem and will also focus on green hydrogen and renewable energy generation as an Independent Power Producer. A memorandum of understanding has been signed with the Maharashtra government to support the initiative.

LNK Energy was launched by three Indian entrepreneurs with an investment of ₹10,000 crore over five years. The company will establish a 6 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra, covering 60 acres.
The project includes integrated ingot and wafer production and aims to support India's clean energy ecosystem. LNK Energy will expand into green fuels, focusing on green hydrogen, and develop a renewable energy generation portfolio as an Independent Power Producer. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Maharashtra government for the project.
