LNK Energy Launches with ₹10,000 Crore Investment for 6 GW Solar Project in Maharashtra
LNK Energy has launched operations in Maharashtra with a ₹10,000 crore investment to establish a 6 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility, including integrated ingot and wafer production. The project, covering 60 acres in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, is supported by a memorandum of understanding with the Maharashtra government. The company aims to enhance sustainable growth and energy security in India while expanding into green fuels, particularly green hydrogen, and developing a renewable energy generation portfolio as an Independent Power Producer.

LNK Energy has launched operations with an investment of ₹10,000 crore over five years. The first project is a 6 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility with integrated ingot and wafer production in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra, covering 60 acres.
An MoU with the Maharashtra government has been signed for the project. The company aims to support sustainable growth and long-term energy security in India and plans to expand into green fuels, focusing on green hydrogen. LNK Energy will also develop a renewable energy generation portfolio as an Independent Power Producer (IPP).
