Local Entrepreneurs Acquire Former Ferblatil Site to Reindustrialize Liège

Five local entrepreneurs have acquired the former Ferblatil site in Liège following the bankruptcy of Liberty Liège on November 25. NOVATILL PARK purchased the 220,000 m² facility to create a space for large companies and SMEs in industrial, technological, or energy sectors.

The project aims to reindustrialize the area by providing a versatile site that includes communal services and potential synergies between businesses. Plans include installing a large photovoltaic solar plant on the 150,000 m² roof and the possibility of accommodating a data center.

The entrepreneurs emphasize reusing existing infrastructure, including 67 operational cranes and other machinery. They aim for an 80% occupancy rate by 2030, hosting around twenty companies and generating hundreds of direct and indirect jobs.
