Lockheed Martin is providing six work experience placements at its Harwell Space Technology facility in Oxfordshire for students in years 10 to 13. This initiative, launched for National Apprenticeship Week, supports the UK's goal to enhance its space capabilities.

Selected students will participate in a four-day summer placement, working closely with engineers and project managers. T-Level placements are a required element of T-Level qualifications, offering about 315 hours of industry experience, which is essential for developing practical skills alongside classroom learning, assisting students in deciding on future careers in the space sector.
