Lockton Appoints Tim Fischer as Nuclear Segment Leader in U.S. Energy Practice
Lockton has appointed Tim Fischer as the nuclear segment leader for its U.S. energy practice, effective immediately. In addition to this role, Fischer will serve as a client executive in the power and renewable energy sectors.
He was formerly the vice president and chief risk officer at BWX Technologies, which provides nuclear components and fuel to the U.S. Navy and the commercial nuclear industry. Fischer has six years of experience with Marsh Risk's power and utility practice.
He began his career as a submarine warfare officer in the Navy, overseeing safety and operational readiness aboard a nuclear-powered submarine. Nuclear power is becoming increasingly important as a clean energy source, particularly for data centers.
