Lodestar Minerals Commences REE Exploration at Virgin Mountain, Arizona
Lodestar Minerals has mobilized its exploration team to Virgin Mountain, Arizona, to enhance its U.S. rare earth element portfolio. The initiative focuses on evaluating a five-kilometer structural trend for high-priority heavy rare earth element (HREE) mineralization.

Lodestar Minerals (ASX: LSR) has deployed its expert exploration team to Virgin Mountain, Arizona, to advance its rare earth element (REE) initiatives. The team, led by Finn Hunter, is now conducting a two-part program that includes a field review of the HREE project and a comprehensive evaluation of other critical mineral opportunities in the U.S.
The company acquired the Virgin Mountain project in January, and recent results confirmed xenotime as the primary REE-bearing mineral. The ongoing assessment aims to explore a previously untested five-kilometer trend that has shown potential for mineralization.
Lodestar is also reviewing additional U.S. REE projects based on geological attributes and economic viability. The current market cap stands at $24.42 million, with shares experiencing a decline of 14.3%. This exploration effort may influence the domestic supply chain for critical minerals in the U.S.
