Lomiko Metals Expands REE Anomalies at Yellow Fox Property in Newfoundland
Lomiko Metals has identified new rare earth element (REE) anomalies, including elevated Dysprosium and Terbium, from 32 additional soil samples at the Yellow Fox Property in Newfoundland. This discovery underlines the potential for a highly enriched HREE system, crucial for advanced technologies and green energy applications.

Lomiko Metals Inc. has announced significant findings from its Phase II soil sampling program at the Yellow Fox Property, revealing new rare earth element (REE) anomalies, particularly in Dysprosium (Dy) and Terbium (Tb). The assays indicate a potential HREE-enriched system with HREE+Y/LREE ratios exceeding 1.25 and Yttrium values constituting 61-69% of HREE totals, emphasizing their importance in green technologies.
The geological environment suggests a highly evolved peralkaline granite, which is a promising host for these elements. Future exploration plans will include additional sampling and geophysical surveys to further delineate these anomalies. Given the ongoing supply-demand imbalance in the rare earth market, these findings could position Lomiko favorably in meeting the rising demand for high-performance materials.
