LONGi Solar and Enery Initiate Major Renewable Energy Project in Romania
LONGi Solar Europe collaborates with Enery on a 1.5 GW project pipeline, focusing on the Ogrezeni hybrid project in Romania. This initiative, featuring a 761 MWp solar array and 1 GWh of battery storage, aims to enhance energy security and efficiency across Central and Eastern Europe.

LONGi Solar Europe is supplying technology for 50% of Enery's 1.5 GW project pipeline for 2026/2027, focusing on the Ogrezeni project in Romania. This facility will integrate a 761 MWp solar array and over 1 GWh of battery storage, becoming one of Europe's largest hybrid renewable projects, with construction starting in January 2026 and full energization expected by 2027.
The project aims to provide electricity for approximately 684,000 households and prevent 303,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. Local partnerships with ENEVO Group enhance execution capabilities, creating 350 jobs during peak construction. The reliance on LONGi's Hi-Mo 9 technology supports significant efficiency and energy yield, showcasing advancements in renewable energy infrastructure.
