Lopal Tech and Inx Tech Launch Major Battery Capacity Projects in China
Lopal Tech and Inx Tech have launched significant battery production projects in China, with Lopal Tech investing up to RMB 2 billion in a lithium battery cathode material project in Jiangsu Province, aiming for an annual output of 240,000 tonnes. Inx Tech has commenced production of its 10 GWh solid-state battery project, with plans to expand into eVTOL aircraft and new energy vehicles, while also establishing a production line for semi-solid-state lithium-ion batteries in Inner Mongolia and initiating a new project in Sichuan Province.

Several battery production capacity projects have been initiated, notably by Lopal Tech and Inx Tech. Lopal Tech plans to invest up to RMB 2 billion in a high-performance lithium battery cathode material project in Jiangsu Province, aiming for an annual output of 240,000 tonnes of lithium iron phosphate.
The project will be implemented in two phases, with the first phase targeting 120,000 tonnes. Inx Tech's Phase I of its 10 GWh solid-state battery project has successfully commenced production, achieving a capacity of 2 GWh.
This phase focuses on consumer electronics, while Phase II will target eVTOL aircraft and new energy vehicles. Additionally, an agreement in Inner Mongolia will establish a production line for 10 GWh of semi-solid-state lithium-ion batteries, complemented by a 2,000 MWh energy storage station. Finally, a new 2 GWh semi-solid-state battery project has begun in Sichuan Province with an investment of RMB 1.1 billion.
