Lower Macungie Township Approves Light Manufacturing Facility at 7428 Industrial Park
The Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners approved a land development plan for a 54,930 square foot light manufacturing facility at 7428 Industrial Park. A sewage facilities planning module for Spring Creek Estates was also approved. Additionally, Newhard Farms was selected to farm approximately 158 acres of land acquired by the township. Residents expressed concerns about a proposed data center in Upper Macungie Township, and a donation of $3,000 was made to Meals on Wheels.

On March 5, the Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners approved Resolution 2026-06 for a light manufacturing facility at 7428 Industrial Park, covering 54,930 square feet. The area is zoned ORLIC (office, research, light industry center).
A sewage facilities planning module for Spring Creek Estates was also approved. Newhard Farms was selected to farm about 158 acres of land acquired by the township. Residents raised concerns regarding a proposed data center in Upper Macungie Township. Additionally, a $3,000 donation to Meals on Wheels was acknowledged during the meeting.
