L&T's Hydrocarbon Onshore business has received a significant order from Petronet LNG for a project at the Dahej Petrochemical Complex in Gujarat. The contract involves engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)/Ethane double-wall storage tank (170,000 m³) and a Propane double-wall storage tank (140,000 m³).

Additionally, the scope includes facilities for Ethane and Propane handling to support the Propane Dehydrogenation and Polypropylene plant. This initiative is part of India's first petrochemical complex utilizing cold energy from an LNG terminal and aims to address the domestic polypropylene demand-supply gap, aligning with the Government of India's Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative. The order reflects confidence in L&T's capability to deliver projects on time and with high quality.
