Luca Fraticelli has been appointed as the head of the Space Office at Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Italian Embassy in Washington is currently looking for a Space Attaché, with applications due by September 30.

Luca Fraticelli is now the director of the Space Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Italy. His prior diplomatic experience includes posts in Asia, particularly in Colombo, Beijing, and Hong Kong, as well as Oslo.
He will focus on key events such as the Space Diplomacy event in Rome on October 9 and the Conference of Scientific and Space Attachés in Reggio Calabria in November. Concurrently, the Italian Embassy in Washington is seeking a Space Attaché through a non-competitive selection process, with a deadline for applications on September 30. This recruitment highlights Italy's growing role in the international space sector.
