.lumen Partners with Arrow Electronics to Scale Smart Glasses Production
.lumen, a Romanian startup, has teamed up with Arrow Electronics to scale production of its smart guidance glasses, which are designed to assist individuals with blindness. Arrow will provide engineering and supply chain support, ensuring reliable inventory and cost control for the glasses, priced at EUR 10,000. The device has received necessary certifications for European commercialization and will initially be launched in Romania.

.lumen, a Romanian startup, has partnered with Arrow Electronics to enhance the production of its smart guidance glasses. Arrow will provide engineering and supply chain services, including sourcing and integrating necessary electronic components like processors, cameras, and sensors.
Arrow, based in Colorado and reporting USD 28 billion in revenue for 2024, will assist .lumen with inventory reliability and cost control. The glasses, priced at EUR 10,000, are designed to aid individuals with blindness, offering functionalities similar to autonomous vehicles without requiring infrastructure modifications.
The device has received necessary certifications for European commercialization and will initially launch in Romania. This collaboration follows Arrow's previous partnership with NXP Semiconductors and Prime Batteries Technology for a battery energy storage system platform.
