Lumina Metals Raises CAD 312.5 Million Ahead of IPO
Lumina Metals has successfully raised CAD 312.5 million in its public offering, with shares priced at CAD 12.5 each. The funds will support three copper and silver mining projects in southwestern Poland, notably the advanced New Soł project.

Lumina Metals, formerly Miedzi Copper, completed a CAD 312.5 million capital raise, with 32.5 million shares sold at CAD 12.5 each, resulting in a market valuation of CAD 1.3 billion. The initial public offering (IPO) is set to debut on the Toronto Stock Exchange, coinciding with a trend of North American mining companies seeking public listings to capitalize on rising metal demand.
Proceeds will finance three mining projects in southwestern Poland, with the New Soł project requiring an estimated USD 6.4 billion to commence production. Kestrel Holdings, controlled by Ross Beaty, will hold 41% of Lumina's public shares post-IPO. The firm reported a net loss of CAD 11.98 million in 2025, up from CAD 7.75 million in 2024.
