Luxcara and GreenH Finalize Investment in Norway's Bodø Large-Scale Green Hydrogen Project
Luxcara and GreenH have made a final investment decision for the Bodø Hydrogen Project in Norway, which will feature a 20 MW electrolyzer capacity in phase 1, producing up to 3,100 tons of green hydrogen annually. Funding of NOK 129 million has been secured from Enova. The project is expected to commence operations in 2026 and will supply green hydrogen to the Vestfjorden ferry operated by Torghatten Nord. Luxcara's majority stake in the project emphasizes its commitment to clean energy infrastructure.

Luxcara and GreenH have finalized their investment in the Bodø Hydrogen Project, one of Norway's first large-scale green hydrogen initiatives. Phase 1 will have a 20 MW electrolyzer capacity, producing 3,100 tons of green hydrogen annually, with a potential expansion to 30 MW and 4,800 tons in phase 2.
NOK 129 million in funding from Enova was secured, enabling the investment decision. Preparatory work has begun, with operations expected to start in 2026, supplying hydrogen to Torghatten Nord's ferry service. Luxcara holds a majority stake in the project while GreenH retains a minority stake.
