Lydian Energy Secures $689 Million Financing for Solar and Battery Storage Projects

Lydian Energy has secured $689 million in financing for its solar and battery storage initiatives, including the 75 MWac AC Ranch 1 solar project in New Mexico, the 170 MWac Yellow Viking solar project in Texas, and the 150 MW Faraday BESS battery project in Utah. The financing, backed by CIBC and MUFG, consists of a Construction-to-Term Loan, Tax Credit Bridge Loan, Co-Investment Bridge Loan, and a Letter of Credit Facility. Lydian's portfolio now includes 18 solar and storage projects totaling 4.4 GW of capacity, supporting its strategy for affordable energy.
