Lyten to Acquire Northvolt's Revolt Battery Recycling Plant in Sweden
Lyten has entered a binding agreement to acquire the Revolt battery recycling plant in Skellefteå, Sweden, following its acquisition of Northvolt Ett and Northvolt Labs on February 27, 2026. The Revolt facility, with a recycling capacity of 8,500 tonnes/year, will enhance Lyten's European operations and support its goal of reducing mined mineral content in batteries. The acquisition is pending legal approvals and expected to close in Q2 2026.

Lyten announced a binding agreement to acquire the Revolt battery recycling plant in Skellefteå, Sweden, after closing its acquisition of Northvolt Ett and Northvolt Labs on February 27, 2026. Revolt has an installed recycling capacity of 8,500 tonnes/year and is powered by 100% fossil-free energy.
This acquisition aligns with Lyten's strategy to establish a Lyten Industrial Hub and restart lithium-ion battery manufacturing. The deal is fully funded through equity investment and is expected to close in Q2 2026, pending legal approvals.
