Mace Construct Partners with PACE to Build 168MW Data Center Portfolio in the UK
Mace Construct has partnered with Pathfinder Clean Energy Limited (PACE) to develop a portfolio of data centers with a total capacity of 168MW in the UK, under a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding. The projects, set to begin construction in 2026, will utilize renewable energy sources and are expected to be operational by 2028. PACE, which has a significant development pipeline, aims to integrate clean energy with advanced computing and AI applications.

Mace Construct will construct a portfolio of data centers with a combined capacity of 168MW for Pathfinder Clean Energy Limited (PACE) under a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding. Mace will assist in determining the feasibility, viability, and design strategy for three data center projects in the Southeast, West Midlands, and West of England, expected to commence construction in 2026.
Power availability for the projects is anticipated by 2027, with data capacity following in 2028. The facilities will be powered via a private wire linked to adjacent renewable energy projects and storage facilities. PACE has a 2GW development pipeline, with over 1.5GW in the UK market, and aims to integrate clean energy with high-performance computing and AI applications.
