MacroAsia Launches Agricultural Project in Cavite and Begins Poro Point Desalination Operations

MacroAsia Corp.'s unit, MacroAsia New Ventures, has launched an agricultural project in Maragondon, Cavite, to support its inflight kitchens and food commissary operations. This project, in partnership with CoGrow Agricultural Services, aims to supply leafy vegetables to reduce procurement costs and improve supply reliability.

Land preparation starts in February, planting in April, and the first harvest is expected by the end of May, with an annual output of 100,000 kilograms. Additionally, MacroAsia's subsidiary, Poro Point Summa Water, has commenced operations at a desalination plant in the Poro Point Freeport Zone, La Union, ensuring access to potable water for the zone and nearby areas, with modular capabilities for future expansion.
