Magnora Acquires Majority Stake in 120 MW Data Center Project Near Hämeenlinna, Finland
Magnora has acquired a 70% majority stake in a 120 MW data center project in Hämeenlinna, Finland, partnering with Northern Europe Energy Group (NEEG), which holds the remaining 30%. The project, covering 150,000 m², is set to reach the Ready-to-Build stage by the end of 2026 and features waste-heat recovery capabilities and access to major fiber operators. This acquisition marks Magnora's third data center initiative in recent months, following developments in Averøy and an operational facility at Storespeed.

Magnora has become the majority owner of a 120 MW data center project in Hämeenlinna, Finland, collaborating with Northern Europe Energy Group (NEEG). The project is expected to reach the Ready-to-Build stage by the end of 2026.
The site spans 150,000 m² and offers advantages such as waste-heat recovery potential, access to major Finnish fiber operators, and proximity to an electrical substation. The collaboration includes a 70% ownership stake for Magnora and 30% for NEEG, which will handle most operational development.
Local municipal support aims to streamline the permitting process. This marks Magnora's third data center project in three months, following developments in Averøy and an operational facility at Storespeed.
