Maharashtra Aims for 75% Clean Energy by 2047 with Rs 3 Lakh Crore Investment

The Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana 2.0 aims for 16,000 MW solar capacity, with 3,349 MW already commissioned. The state holds a Guinness record for installing 45,911 solar agri pumps in December 2025. Maharashtra is also progressing in rooftop solar panel installations and pumped hydropower projects, with ongoing work on six projects totaling 10,300 MW capacity.
