Major Data Center Project Planned in Mesa, Arizona
A 2.26 million-square-foot data center is set for development in Mesa, Arizona, with a permit approved by the Planning Board. This project aims to enhance local industrial capacity and align with sustainable landscaping initiatives.

A 2,257,581-square-foot data center will be developed on 170 acres at the northeast corner of East Pecos Road and South Crismon Road in Mesa. The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board approved a recommendation for the city council on May 13 to modify the site plan and rezone the land to facilitate this project.
The approval includes a condition mandating a revised landscape plan incorporating drought-tolerant plants, following guidelines from local water conservation authorities. This significant investment in infrastructure could impact the local economy and set a precedent for future developments in sustainable practices.
