Makmor has signed a letter of intent with MD Aircraft GmbH to acquire 10 MDA1 eViator electric regional passenger aircraft. This marks a structured fleet commitment for the nine-seater aircraft, which targets lower operating costs and near-zero emissions, and is designed for short take-off and landing from regional airstrips.

Initial flight tests are set for 2028, with certification and service entry expected in 2030. The agreement positions India as a significant market for electric regional air mobility, capitalizing on the country's underutilized airstrips and growing demand for tier-2/3 connectivity.
