Five Malaysian companies are involved in joint ventures in various sectors. Proposed initiatives include a 'Portugal Business and Investment' seminar in Kuala Lumpur and a targeted trade mission to Malaysian industrial hubs in 2026. Total trade between Malaysia and Portugal reached €145.7 million in 2024, with significant exports in natural rubber and imports in textiles and machinery.
