Manchester Township Council to Introduce $4.7 Million in Bond Ordinances for Water Utility Upgrades

WATER INFRASTRUCTURE & DESALINATION

The Manchester Township Council will introduce two bond ordinances totaling $4.7 million for water utility infrastructure upgrades. Ordinance #26-15 will authorize $2,142,000 for improvements in the western service area, including the replacement of Well #10.

Ordinance #26-16 seeks $2,565,400 for the eastern service area, covering the Route 70 water main extension project. Additionally, the council will propose road vacations for Weston, Madison, Jackson, Manchester, Blanche, Cleveland, and Evelyn streets. Other agenda items include new recreation fees and contracts with local companies.
