MBA Polymers and Energenta Merge to Form Integrated Plastics Recycling Group in Germany
MBA Polymers has merged with Energenta, creating a new group that covers the entire plastics recycling value chain in Germany. This merger strengthens both companies' positions in the fast-growing market and aligns with Europe's transition to a circular economy. The new entity will enhance operational efficiency, accelerate innovation, and expand its global footprint in plastics recycling. Sysplast, a key component of the group, plans to double its production capacity and develop new sustainable materials, reflecting the increasing demand for high-quality recycled polymers.

MBA Polymers has completed its merger with Energenta, forming an integrated group in Germany that covers the entire plastics recycling value chain. The merger establishes a vertically integrated structure, improving operational efficiency and supporting Europe's transition to a circular economy.
Shareholders now hold a 33 percent stake in Energenta. Sysplast, part of the group, will double its production capacity and expand its technical center to develop new materials. The new entity enhances capabilities in processing recycled polyolefin materials, positioning itself as a significant player in the evolving European plastics recycling market.
