MBRSC to Showcase Space Innovations at Make it in the Emirates 2026
MBRSC will exhibit at Make it in the Emirates from May 4-7, emphasizing local space technology development. This participation underscores the UAE's strategy to bolster its space ecosystem and manufacturing capabilities.

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) will participate in Make it in the Emirates from May 4 to 7 at ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, showcasing its role in advancing the UAE's space sector. Exhibits will include a model of Rashid Rover 2, slated for launch no earlier than late 2026, and components from MBZ-SAT, the region's most advanced satellite launched in January 2025, with 90% of its mechanical parts sourced locally.
Additionally, the Centre will display the PHI model for PHI-1, developed in collaboration with the UN. This participation aims to enhance national capabilities and foster partnerships within the advanced industrial sector, positioning the UAE as a significant player in the global space innovation landscape.
