McDuffie County Proposes 200-Acre Data Center Project Azalea in Georgia

McDuffie County proposed a data center project named 'Project Azalea' on 200 acres near Randall Hunt Road, close to an electrical substation. The county submitted a zoning request and requested a review from the Central Savannah River Regional Commission.

A comment period will follow, with findings submitted to the Planning Commission for a public hearing scheduled for March 3. Any comments from this hearing will be reviewed by the McDuffie County Board of Commissioners for another hearing on March 17.
