Mega First Corporation Berhad is set for optimized performance in 2026 after transitioning to new PPA terms. The company expands its renewable energy capacity with a total of 422.2 MWp, combining hydropower and solar energy.

In 2026, Mega First Corporation Berhad's Don Sahong Hydropower Project achieves a total capacity of 325 MW, following the integration of the fifth turbine. The group is also commissioning two solar plants totaling 62.4 MWp, increasing its renewable energy capacity to 422.2 MWp, with solar now constituting 23% of the total.
Despite facing a 5% corporate tax, the scheduled tariff increase to 6.05 US cents and reduced royalty expenses from acquired water rights improve financial stability. The company reports a net profit margin of approximately 27.3% and anticipates a cash reserve of RM1 billion by year-end. The market currently values Mega First at a PE of around 7.8x, indicating potential undervaluation relative to its diversified assets and robust balance sheet.
