MENA Region Attracts $642 Billion in Clean Industry Investments
The MENA region is emerging as a key player in clean industrial investment, with 84 projects totaling $642 billion. This shift underscores a growing trend towards sustainable practices in energy-intensive sectors amidst global economic changes.

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region has announced 84 projects valued at approximately $642 billion focused on clean industrial investment. Egypt leads with 25 projects worth $108.5 billion, while Oman boasts a committed pipeline of $271 billion across 19 projects, including a green ammonia facility in Duqm.
The Neom Green Hydrogen Project in Saudi Arabia represents a significant clean ammonia initiative at 1.2 million tonnes. The region's infrastructure supports its role as a key exporter of clean commodities.
Sustaining this momentum will require enhanced trade partnerships, demand signals, and financing strategies. The rapid scaling in clean production highlights the industry's potential amidst rising energy volatility.
