Menlo Equities is set to develop a data center complex in Ahwatukee, Phoenix, which will feature five two-story buildings totaling over 1 million sq ft and 20 data halls. The site will replace vacant office buildings at Thistle Landing Office Park.
The project is approximately 50% through permitting, with completion of the substation and shell expected by late 2026, and data halls anticipated to be operational by early 2027. Separately, Google is building a new data center in Midlothian, Texas, with an investment of $880 million and a completion date of February 24, 2027.
