Mercedes-Benz Launches Uptime Service with New Actros Trucks in Europe
Mercedes-Benz has introduced its Uptime service with the delivery of 21 new Actros trucks to Schober Transport in Germany. This telematics system enhances predictive maintenance, improving vehicle availability and operational efficiency.

Schober Transport has integrated 21 new Actros trucks, marking the first deployment of Mercedes-Benz's Uptime service. The fleet includes 15 Actros 1845 LS 4x2 and six Actros 1845 LSNRL 4x2 models, equipped with the Truck Data Center for connectivity.
Uptime enables real-time vehicle status communication, facilitating predictive maintenance. This initiative is expected to enhance resource availability for Schober Transport. The company emphasizes the importance of preventing breakdowns and ensuring timely deliveries, which Uptime is designed to support.
