Merus Power and CATL have entered a strategic agreement to deliver around 3 GWh of battery energy storage solutions in Nordic Europe. This collaboration follows a previous three-year partnership where Merus Power provided approximately 500 MWh of BESS utilizing CATL's technology.
The new solutions integrate CATL's battery technology with Merus Power's power electronics, grid inverter technology, and cyber-secure systems. This partnership aims to address the increasing demand for flexibility and renewable energy use in Northern Europe, where the energy transition is accelerating.
