MES Issues ₹95 Lakh Tender for 6 MW Solar Plant Operation in Jodhpur
The Military Engineer Services (MES) has issued a ₹95 lakh tender for the operation and maintenance of a 6 MW solar power plant in Jodhpur. This project emphasizes technical experience in solar installations, mandating bidders to have completed significant projects in the past seven years.

The MES has released a tender for the operation and maintenance of a 6 MW Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) Grid Interactive Power Plant in the Jodhpur Army Area, estimated at ₹95 lakh. The contract will be executed under the Commander Works Engineer (CWE) Army Jodhpur and requires completion within eleven months.
Eligible bidders must have relevant experience, including projects of at least 4.8 MW or multiple smaller projects, executed for government or public sector clients. The bidding process will take place on the defence e-tendering portal with strict compliance to financial documentation and performance security requirements. Non-compliance may lead to suspension from future bidding opportunities, highlighting the importance of adherence to the tender conditions.
