Meta is investing $27 billion to develop the Hyperion Campus, an AI data center in Louisiana, on land previously used for soybean farming. The project will cover 11 square kilometers and include essential infrastructure such as power plants and cooling facilities, aimed at training advanced AI models. However, there are growing concerns about potential economic bubbles due to the significant investments by U.S. tech companies in artificial intelligence.

Meta is constructing a $27 billion AI data center on land in Louisiana formerly used for soybean farming. The project, known as the Hyperion Campus, aims to train more powerful AI models and will include supporting infrastructure such as power plants, offices, and cooling facilities.
