Meta Platforms has signed a pre-development agreement with the Town of Beloit for a potential data center on 430 acres in southern Wisconsin, named Project Cornmaze. This agreement, made under Cambrin LLC, allows the town to recover costs if the project does not proceed, although no applications or site plans have been submitted.

Preliminary discussions have occurred with property owners and neighboring municipalities. The land is owned by Rock Road Companies Inc. Additionally, Meta is constructing a $1 billion campus in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, scheduled to start in late 2025.
