Meta to Deploy 6 Gigawatts of AMD GPUs for AI Infrastructure by 2026

Meta has announced a deal to deploy 6 gigawatts of AMD Instinct GPUs, specifically starting with MI450 models in the second half of 2026, as part of a $60 billion investment in AI infrastructure. This collaboration includes AMD's EPYC CPUs, with Meta designated as the lead customer for the next generation, expected to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
