Metacon AB has been awarded a contract to supply a 2,000 NMCH oxygen purification system to Motor Oil (Hellas) Corinth Refineries S.A. in Greece. The contract, valued at €976,290, will see the system integrated into a 50 MW electrolysis-based hydrogen production plant under construction at Motor Oil's site.

The oxygen purification system is expected to improve the overall efficiency of the hydrogen plant and may also supply purified oxygen for refinery operations. The project is supported by a €111.7 million subsidy from the Greek government.
