Microchip Technology has introduced the MCPF1525 Power Module, designed to enhance efficiency in AI and high-performance computing environments. This compact module features a 16V input buck converter capable of delivering up to 200A when stacked, while its vertical design reduces board area by 40%. Priced at $12.00 for 1,000 units, it includes programmable controls and critical diagnostics for reliable operation in data centers.

Microchip Technology has launched the MCPF1525 Power Module, designed to meet the demands of AI and high-performance computing workloads. This highly integrated device features a 16V input buck converter that delivers 25A per module and can be stacked to provide up to 200A.
The module’s vertical construction allows for a 40% reduction in board area compared to other solutions, measuring 6.8 mm x 7.65 mm x 3.82 mm, making it suitable for space-constrained AI servers. The MCPF1525 includes programmable PMBus and I2C controls and provides critical diagnostics for over-temperature, over-current, and over-voltage protection.
