Microporous has secured financing for its new manufacturing facility in Danville, Virginia, with funding from Trent Capital Partners, Eagle Point Credit Management, and Elda River Capital Management. Construction is set to commence in May 2026 and will enable the facility to produce approximately 65 gigawatt-hours of battery separators annually.
This expansion is crucial for meeting the increasing demand for energy storage solutions in automotive, industrial, and grid applications. The project is expected to create jobs and contribute to regional economic growth, reflecting a significant investment in U.S. manufacturing capabilities.
